Experience
I have four years experience as a counselor for Youth Villages Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia where I assisted in supporting and teaching adolescents’ ages 11 to 19 years, with behavioral or cognitive problems. I assisted in goal setting, completing objectives, career counseling, tutoring, and mentoring. I have worked with children ages 3 months to 19 years of age. For the last three years I have had the opportunity to work in the early childhood education field for pre-kindergarten, preschool, and a Montessori learning environment. I have completed 38 of 46 credits of my masters program. I will receive a Master’s in Education and a teaching certification In Spring 2016. I currently work as a Georgia pre-kindergarten teacher in Alpharetta, Georgia. I enjoy helping students succeed in achieving their goals. I believe it is important to implement several learning and teaching strategies in order to tailor lessons according to the students' needs.

Hobbies
I enjoy painting, creating art, dancing, and decorating. I enjoy learning new skills and reading about new curriculum and teaching strategies. I like to incorporate abstract and concrete ideas and topics in my lessons. I use Montessori-like lessons and procedures for individual instruction to enhance critical thinking skills.
